2026 Field Program Nominations

▍Senior-level leaders in the fight for progressive policies and democracy, with demonstrated support from the field in the form of nomination or recommendation from civil society, advocacy, or government institutions or affiliates. In 2026, priority consideration will be given to leaders working in or with Latin America and the Caribbean;

▍Ambitious about what they want to achieve through politics and public service;

▍Hopeful and optimistic about Government and politics as a solution for modern problems;

▍Demonstrated consensus-builders who often seek to build bridges and widen tents in order to get things done;

▍Proven ability to connect with people;

▍Curious, humble, with a strong emphasis on leading in a way that is vulnerable, empathetic, and kind.

We are now accepting nominations for the 2026-2027 Field cohort. The fellowship will begin with an in-person gathering in late July 2026 and continue with digital programming, public events, and in-person gatherings through the following June. 

Only applicants meeting the following criteria will be considered:

Nominations of current elected officeholders and/or government officials are welcomed, but applicants would be responsible for knowing their countries’ restrictions on participation, including any applicable lobbying, gift, travel, lodging or other benefits rules. Current elected officeholders and government officials are required to obtain all necessary authorizations from their government before beginning the program and must attest that their participation complies with their laws. There is no monetary compensation associated with this fellowship.

You may nominate more than one person. Self-nominations are accepted, with inclusion of contact information for at least one person who can serve as a reference.

Nominations must be made by February 15th at midnight GMT.
